Advice from the listserve: Q&A

1.Substitute teacher used Sharpie marker on a Smart board. Anyone know how to safely remove it?
Our SMART rep told us to use a dry erase marker and then a non alcohol based cleaner. I would not recommend using anything else.

Also you may want to only keep dry erase markers anywhere near the board - we have decided to use dry erase markers as our chart markers for this very reason - too easy to make a mistake and use the wrong kind.
